Orange…

Orange!A record crowd of 53,012 fans watches as Oklahoma State kicks off against Georgia to start the second half of what would become a 24-10 win for the Cowboys to start the season.

This fall begins my second full year on the O’Colly staff. But forget about that. It’s football season and the Cowboys are ranked higher than ever to start the season.

If you are familiar with Oklahoma State, you are familiar with disappointment. I’m trying my best to keep my hopes in check for this season, but it’s hard to not dream big.

I know football isn’t everything. I know it’s not even the biggest part of a university – at least, it shouldn’t be. Academics, anyone?

But how many other things bring together this many people so quickly for a single, simple goal?

It may be silly to be proud of such a thing as a sport teams, but I can’t help it. I’m proud.

I’m proud of the football team. I’m proud of this university. I’m proud of my fellow alumni – past, present and future. I’m proud of Boone Pickens.

What kind of aperture setting did you use? From the looks of it, I would say f8?

I really enjoy your photos. They look great. You should start incorporating information about settings and aperture that you use.
