Number 1 fan

Number 1 fan2-year-old Brendan Ackerson from Kansas City carries his Oklahoma State football across a table of players to be autographed on Saturday at OSU Media Day inside Gallagher Iba Arena.

Today I got the opportunity to shoot for the Tulsa World, which always makes me happy.

Earlier in the day I shot a few portraits of various football players. It was fun to play with the lighting and talk with the players, but nothing too exciting.

This evening was an autograph session for OSU fans. I could not believe how many showed up! The line was insane. It started outside Gallagher Iba and filled up every set of stairs and the entire concourse level.

Seeing the enthusiasm made me appreciate OSU a little more and made me excited for football season. There may be a bad egg or two somewhere on the team, but every player that I talked to was extremely courteous.

  1. It was a fun day wasn’t it. Thanks for all your help.

Your pictures are always amazing! But I have to say the only thing
that would make this better would be seeing some crimson and cream in
    the picture!

  3. zachgray says:

Steven, it was a pleasure working with you. Haha, how cordial…
I look forward to working together more – only in more controlled situations.

Thanks, Bri! I don’t think you’ll be seeing much of those colors on here :D
