Be stupid

Oklahoma State students Ryan Whitten (left), Heath Rice (middle) and Luke Tallon (right) are pulled behind a friends truck down the streets of Stillwater on Friday.

Before anyone gets offended, I’m not calling these fine gentlemen stupid.

This reminded me of theĀ “Be Stupid” ad campaign for Diesel.

What they were doing probably wasn’t very safe or legal, sure. But who am I to judge?

Nathan and I were walking down the street. Luckily, he got a call and we stopped for a minute. Just before we started back, a truck passed by with these guys behind.

I often hesitate at good photo opportunities, as I’ve mentioned before.

But when it really counts, I usually step up.

So – completely out of character – I ran to the truck before it left the stop sign and jumped in the back.

Pretty aggressive, but one look at these guys and I knew they would have no qualms with my addition.

We drove around campus for a bit, stopping every minute or so to pick them up after a spill. It was a lot of fun.

I’m glad I jumped in.

Nice photo, I’m a photography student at OSUIT and I’m curious what post work was done.

Thanks! I hear good things about OSUIT.

Minimal post was done, as is true with almost all of my photos.
I brightened it up, probably tweaked the color a bit and added a vignette, which I overdid.

  3. Ha, this is great man! Love the energy and vibe to it. The composition is pretty sweet to. I do agree the vignette is a bit much because it stops so abruptly, it would look better if it gradually fade out.
